Planting Seeds

August 23, 2011

Finally, it has begun.  I have spent more than two years developing friendships and now I have been able to begin training those friends in becoming disciples of Jesus.   They, in turn, will train others to be disciples through establishing groups that meet in homes.  In doing this they learn to be families of disciples together in Jesus that birth other families.  There are a total of eleven men that I am currently studying with and they are already beginning to have a vision for how God can use them to call Rwanda to Himself.  It is exciting as this is the moment we’ve all been praying and waiting for.  Others in ATN have already been involved in this process and God continues to develop new groups of disciples seemingly everywhere we turn and through whatever services our group renders.  Pray with us for fertile ground in the hearts of the Rwandan people that the seeds planted will truly produce a harvest a hundredfold.

Isaiah 55:11 “so is my word that goes out from my mouth:  It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.”

How wonderful! I know this is a time you have long awaited. May God continue to bless you, your work and your family.
